The 23rd IAGG World Congress is the flagship global event for gerontology and geriatrics, held only once every four years. In 2026 the congress comes to Amsterdam under the theme “Ageing well in a globalised world,” focusing on how societies can support healthy, meaningful and dignified ageing at scale. With thousands of delegates expected from more than 80 countries, IAGG 2026 at RAI Amsterdam is the place where major international societies, UN agencies, NGOs and researchers converge.
